Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on Fairfield Lake, a 55+ acre lake complete with boathouse, dock, rentals and swimming beach.
You can canoe and explore the unbounded nature along the lake's shoreline, search for the perfect fishing hole in one of the fishing boats, or give your legs a workout in a paddle boat.(A North Carolina fishing license is required).
Also located nearby is Hogback Lake a beautiful 35-acre lake for fishing. Horse pasture Riverbank provides access to the river for fishing and splashing as it flows through the Sapphire Valley area.
Fishing is available at anytime of year from the beach.
